The Elder of Ardor, Rioma, is most famous for her unique talent of engulfing her whole body in flames while in her griffin form. A feat no other griffin has yet conquered. Among the griffins, this ability is called the Phoenix Effect.

The gift of Prophecy is given to only one griffin per generation. It is the most valued gift among its people, and to many of its keepers, a great burden. The power is signified with the color green, matching the moon that has blessed its griffins.
Felix, the Elder Prophet's power is so consuming, that he often loses consciousness with every vision. He notes the passage of time within a vision by watching the movement of the sun... unlike the griffin prophet of the current generation, Marcus, who sees the moon...
