The gift of Dark, signified by purple gems and crystals, is the most feared and reviled in the Griffin Clan. Wielders of this power can read minds, engage in telepathic conversations, and even hold one's mind hostage.

Deor, the Elder of Dark, is the most powerful of his kind. He can reach the minds of many simultaneously and extend his influence across vast distances.

Limitations

A simple blockading potion will render a Griffin of Dark's power useless against you. Likewise, it is said that the Elder of Dark, Deor, cannot manipulate minds through The Three Eyes; he must be in the same plane as his victims.
